Best for the priceOne of the best Immersion water heater. It takes 10-15minutes to boil water completely. The power cord is of good quality and has 16Amps plug. The Bakelite handle of the product is not of good quality and it feels like cheap material is being used.(Never expected this from Crompton product). But for the price it is very good.SAFETY TIPS💡1. Saw some reviews in Amazon where some customers used 6A to 16A socket convertor to use Immersion water heater in a 6A socket. Please do not use these type of convertors with high power devices as there will be higher risk of fire which causes melting of the house wiring. If you don’t have 16A socket call your local electrician and get it installed before using this product.2. Make sure earthing is working properly especially when using metal bucket.

Quick heaterQuick heater.. Heats a bucket of water for bathing in only about 20 mins. Plug is a bit bigger and doesn’t fit the regular sockets.

Quality in accordance with the brandGood quality in accordance with Crompton Greaves brand name. Indicator lamp is good feature. Did not lose any plating even during first use. We should not expect too fast heating from a 1000 Watt water heater. It takes about 15-20 minutes to heat a large bucket water to become luckwarm and 30-35 minutes to heat it to hot. It has smaller 3 pin Indian plug. If you need faster heating, you need 1500 Watt heater which is usually fitted with larger 3 pin plug.

Very nice16 Amp plug not suitable in normal plug (generally using for mobile charging). Very nice having indicator which is very important but in bazaz you don’t get. For 1 bucket water takes 10 min for normal hit and for 15_18 for more.

5 Months usage review -Best Immersion Water Heater under the price range.No complaints so far. Very satisfied with Crompton CG-IHL 152 1500-Watt Immersion Water Heater. It works as claimed by the company.

Review after a month of usage…..Writing this review after using for a month on daily basis and upto minimum 4 times a day.This is a best alternative for quick heating requirement for whatsoever reason. The coil heats up well in 10 – 15 mins a full bucket of water.However using it itself is a slight exercise since you have to hang it above the bucket at the right water level and near to a 15A power outlet and also to ensure that the plastic holder will not get immersed in water. Some people use the adapter to connect it to 5A outlet, I personally don’t recommend it since it is a possible fire hazard due to overloading of the wires and sockets that are designed for 5A.If you use hard water, deposit builds up quite fast not the coil and easy method to clean it is leaving the coil overnight in a water mixed with some scale remover.So product wise no issues at all….. go ahead and buy it…..
